Judit used to be in charge of teaching Colloid Chemistry (lectures and laboratory practice) in German language for third-year Pharmacy students at Semmelweis University, Faculty of Pharmacy, Budapest (2013–2018).
Earlier, Judit had been employed as an assistant, later as a research fellow, at Eötvös Loránd University, Institute of Chemistry, Budapest, where she was involved in supervising and developing different laboratory measurements at BSc level in Physics, Colloid Chemistry, and Physical Chemistry (2002–2006 and 2013–2016).
She is Editorial Board member of the Chemical Papers for High Schools (issued by the Hungarian Chemical Society), where she is the head of the yearly German-Hungarian translation contest of high school students since 2004.
Judit conducted research at various institutions: at Otto von Guericke Universität, Department of Biophysics, Magdeburg, Germany (1998–1999), at Centre de Recherche Paul Pascal, CNRS Bordeaux, France (2008–2012), at Louisiana State University, Department of Chemistry, Baton Rouge, USA (2016), and at The University of Sheffield, Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering, Sheffield, UK (2019–2021). She was principal investigator of 2 postdoctoral research grants and 3 research fellowships, among them the prestigious Marie Skłodowska-Curie Individual Fellowship of the European Commission.
