She has been in charge of compiling, supervising the content and the implementation of the course material since the start of the program.

Earlier, Zsuzsa used to work as a research chemist at the Institute of Experimental Medicine of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences and at the Department of Biochemistry at the Horticultural University, Budapest, Hungary.

She worked in a research group of the Department of Anatomy, University of California, San Francisco, USA (1988-1990). Zsuzsa was also a laboratory practice tutor at the Department of Biochemistry, Semmelweis University, Budapest, Hungary conducting seminars for first year students (1990-2010).

Besides teaching at the Pre-Medical Track of McDaniel College Budapest, Emma has been employed at the Organic Chemistry Department , Chemistry Institute, Eötvös Loránd University of Science; Budapest, Hungary, first as an assistant professor and later as an associate professor since 1989. Emma was research fellow at Brandeis University, Boston, USA (1990) and a visiting researcher at Wistar Institute, Philadelphia, USA (1991-1992).

Besides teaching at McDaniel College Budapest, András worked as a lecturer at the Department of Applied Chemistry (1971-1982), then, as an associate professor at the Department of Physical Chemistry (1983-2000) at the Technical University of Budapest, Hungary. From 1988 until 2003, he was leading the engineering education in foreign languages at the Technical University of Budapest, Hungary as member of the leading Committee of the International Education Center, and since 2000 he has supported of the work of students in Scientific Students Circles of the Department of Physical Chemistry.

He also worked as a guest researcher in Dresden at the Technical University, Dresden, Germany and at La Sapienza University in Rome. In addition, he was Head of the Secretariat of the Hungarian-American Joint Research Fund in 1992-1993, and a member of SRHE (Society for Research into Higher Education, established in Great Britain) between 1989 and 2006.

From 2015 until 2018, as a PhD student, Bálint conducted laboratory practice for both international and Hungarian students at the Hevesy György PhD School of Chemistry, Eötvös Lorand University, Budapest, Hungary. He also supervised several BSc and MSc thesis works. From 2017 until 2018, he worked as chemistry teacher at Magister Universitas.
Besides teaching at McDaniel College Budapest, he has been an assistant research fellow at Eötvös Loránd University since 2018.

Tímea SZENTGYÖRGYI

Tímea started her career as a teacher of Biology and Chemistry in various high schools in Budapest Hungary, and was a member of the national team on Science on Stage conference in 2005 and in 2007 organized by the EU for science teachers. Between 2008 and 2016, she worked as a Pharmaceutical patent examiner at the Hungarian Intellectual Property Office, Budapest, Hungary. Besides teaching at McDaniel College Budapest, she has been working as an EU Coordinator at Hungarian Biocides Competent Authority at Hungarian Biocides Competent Authority, National Public Health Center, Budapest, Hungary since 2016. She is also a certified aroma therapist.

Since October 5, 2020 the education at McDaniel College Budapest has been online. We have successfully conducted our online instruction both in the two-semester and in the one-semester Pre-Medical Track this academic year. Even though we are committed to continue our instruction on campus in person when circumstances permit (hopefully from September, 2021), we will also offer the possibility to complete the whole course online.
