After completing his university studies, Csaba immediately got a position at the Department of General and Analytical Chemistry of the Faculty of Chemical Engineering of the Technical University of Budapest, where he worked as Associate Professor until 2010. During these years, he participated in various research projects in cooperation with pharmaceutical, electrical and telecommunication industrial companies in addition to delivering lectures in chemistry and instrumental analytical chemistry, and conducting laboratory practices both in classical and instrumental analysis for undergraduate, post-graduate and foreign students.
He also supervised the thesis work of several BSc, MSc and PhD students.
He was the author and co-author of more than 100 research papers and about 200 conference and seminar lectures (written and delivered mainly in English).
He was a visiting researcher and lecturer in Italy and Brazil.
Since 2010, he has been working at the Hungarian Intellectual Property Office as a patent examiner.
