Earlier, Ágnes worked as a History, Russian and Judaism teacher in various high schools (1979-2008). She was also a part time instructor in Russian at Semmelweis University. She was trained in teaching Hungarian as a foreign language in 1990-1991. She also participated in editing and publishing a Jewish history textbook for high school students.
