After obtaining her first degree, Anikó started teaching Physics in Verebély László Vocational Secondary School, Budapest. In 2002, she joined XIV. District Szent István High School, Budapest, where she coordinated the school community service in addition to her teaching position. Since 2015, she has been the head intructor in Physics and the coorditator of the school’s mentor program in Fazekas Mihály Training Primary and High School, Budapest. She also worked as the editor-in-chief for the Physics column at Abacus journal between 2009 and 2016, and was member of the Research Group of Teaching Physics at the Hungarian Academy of Sciences between 2016 and 2021.
