Motivational Talks 2026: Pre-Med Alumni Inspire the Next Generation
On Thursday, February 26, students gathered at the Pre-Med Program of McDaniel College Budapest for the Motivational Talks event, featuring presentations by Pre-Med alumni members currently studying in the Faculties of Medicine and Dentistry, Semmelweis University.
The line-up of speakers included:
- Arya Davoodi (2nd Year, Faculty of Dentistry), who spoke about the realities of entering and successfully progressing through dental school in his presentation, “How to Get In and How to Stay In.”
- Christopher Kriel (6th Year, Faculty of Medicine), who is also a PhD student parallel to his medical studies, delivered an inspiring talk titled “Thriving While Everyone Is Just Surviving.”
- Linor Steiner (4th Year, Faculty of Medicine), who presented her research work related to the TDK Conference 2026, focusing on the radiological and epidemiological analysis of congenital tumors.
- Dr. Koorosh Karimi, MD (2024), PhD student at the Center of Translational Medicine, who shared personal reflections and professional insights in his talk, “Finding Your Path: Lessons From My Journey.”
The event concluded with a roundtable discussion and Q&A session, where students had the opportunity to engage directly with the speakers, ask questions, and gain practical advice about how to navigate their education.
